Scott Bakula (Captain Archer) and his wife Chelsea Field will be honorary co-chairpersons of a benefit for a theatre company for young people who stutter.

Project Quantum Leap has information about the event, which will take place on April 23rd in New York City. The "Express Yourself" event will celebrate actress and former stutterer Peggy Lipton, a friend of Bakula's.

Many other theatrical performers will appear at the benefit, which will be co-hosted by Jesse L. Martin and Mariska Hargitay. A more complete list appears at Playbill.

Our Time allows pre-teens and teens to study all aspects of performance and playwriting with professionals. Their original plays are performed in New York and all over the world. The benefit performance will take place at the Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at New York University with dinner to follow at a Chinatown restaurant.
