A repeat of Smallville's pilot episode beat Star Trek: Enterprise's third-season rerun "North Star" in the fast national ratings last night.

According to Zap2It, UPN's new 8 p.m. Wednesday lineup, the premiere of Game Over and the return of The Mullets, both scored poor ratings as well.

Game Over brought in a 1.4 rating/2 share at 8, while The Mullets earned a 1.2/2. This means that approximately 1.4% of American households were tuned to UPN at 8 and 1.2 % at 8:30, while 2% of households watching television at the time had the new lineup on.

Last week a new episode of Star Trek: Enterprise earned a 2.6/4 in the 8 p.m. timeslot.

Zap2It did not publish Enterprise's fast national ratings but said that the show trailed the 2.5/4 that the second Smallville rerun of the night earned for The WB.

FOX's American Idol led that network to a win, while in Enterprise's new time slot, NBC came in second with a rerun of Law & Order.

A summary of the fast national ratings is here. Mediaweek.com had not posted overnight ratings from metered markets as of their press time today.
