'Khan' on 'Family Guy' and Taco Bell Commercial

Star Trek has been the subject of parody on Family Guy again, this time in a send-up of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

StarTrek.com reported that the episode featured a version of Spock's funeral as seen in the second Star Trek feature, after Brian accidentally sold Stewie's teddy bear at a yard sale. Stewie worried that the bear might be dead and imagined a send-off.

Wearing Kirk's uniform from The Wrath of Khan, the character gave the familiar eulogy, "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most...human." Animated versions of Saavik, Uhura and other crewmembers were seen while the bear slid toward the torpedo chute and was ejected into space, with Brian playing Scotty's bagpipes ("Amazing Grace" of course).

A one-minute video of the scene has been posted at YouTube, which featured Connor Trinneer (Tucker) among the voice cast members. Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane had appeared on Star Trek: Enterprise in "The Forgotten" as an engineer in trouble with Tucker.

And if that's not enough Star Trek II for you, Khan actor Ricardo Montalban can be seen in the new Taco Bell commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, explaining how to pronounce "carne asada." The ad can be seen here.
