Sci-Fi Weekly Interviews Patrick Stewart

By Christian

Patrick Lee, writer at the Science Fiction Weekly, has put up a new interview with Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard). In the interview, Stewart first talks about his experiences filming the 'X-Men' movie, which opens on the 14th of July. After that, however, he moves on to the tenth Star Trek film.

Stewart started out by confirming, again, that the story is currently being developed, and that Picard will be in the film. He also stated, however, that a director for the film has not yet been selected, thereby denying the already doubtful report from IGN Movies that screenwriter John Logan would also be directing the film. Finally, he said that it has not been decided yet whether Stewart would also act as associate producer on the film, a role he also fulfilled on 'Star Trek: Insurrection'.

In the full interview, you'll also be able to read Stewart's thoughts on Star Trek in general, as well as of course more on the 'X-Men' film. Thanks go out to Gustavo Leao for pointing me to this!
