Patrick Stewart will be present at the ceremony in Los Angeles where the Jules Verne Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to William Shatner.

As reported at Startrek.com, Stewart, Malcolm McDowell (Dr. Soran) and other surprise guests will be in attendance to honor William Shatner as he receives a Lifetime Achievement Award from Jules Verne Adventures.

Jules Verne Adventures, founded in Paris in 1991, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exploration, discovery and education and a collective mission to honor and preserve the natural bio-diversity of the planet. The Jules Verne Advertures Film Festival was conceived to inspire and enlighten the human spirit about the mysteries and wonders of the universe.

McDowell will host the ceremony, which takes place at the Shrine Auditorium located in Los Angeles, the same place where Shatner received both of his Emmys. The Shatner presentation will be preceded by four hours of a HD showing of the remastered original series, followed by a special award to NASA and then a twenty-fifth anniversary screening of Blade Runner with Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford in attendance.
