Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager's Bryan Fuller may return to Heroes if his current series Pushing Daisies is not picked up for renewal.

As reported by G4, the top-level shake-up at Heroes, in which two of the show's co-executive producers, Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander were let go, may bring about the return of Fuller who used to work on the series.

Hollywood insiders believe that Fuller would not return to the show full-time. If he returns, it would most likely be as a consultant to help the ailing series.

"I am exclusive to 'Daisies' through the delivery of the thirteenth episode of our thirteen-episode order, which will be mid-January," said Fuller. "If 'Daisies' isn't picked up by then, I will definitely be going back to play with my friends at 'Heroes.'"
