Hello World!
I've seldom felt more frustrated than I did today, during the server downtime. For many of those six hours the sites weren't doing anything, I just found myself trying the site URLs every two minutes or so. After one and a half hour of this, I even decided to call the web hosting company, which didn't exactly go as planned. I did get someone on the phone after my first try, which I already thought was amazing considering I'd never made a transatlantic call before, but after rattling off the five sentences I'd previously thought of, summarising my server problems, the seemingly baffled woman on the other end told me I was in fact speaking to a travel agent. The second try did go fairly well, though of course it'd be another four hours before the site was actually up again, as you can read here.
Anyway, as usual, back to catching up with things again.
