New Images Of 'Star Trek' Boxed Sets

Online retailer Amazon.co.uk recently released high-quality images of the Region 2 packaging for the Star Trek boxed sets.

Season one, currently scheduled to be released in Europe on August 30, will come in a yellow box featuring an picture of the three principal characters: Kirk, Spock and McCoy. As previously reporter, the set will include interviews with William Shatner (James T. Kirk) and Leonard Nimoy (Spock), production documentaries and interviews with the writers.

Featuing Kirk and McCoy on a blue background, season two will hit stores on November 1. It will be followed on December 6 by season three, which will be red with a photo of Kirk and Spock. Specifications for these two sets are expected nearer the release dates.

Please bear in mind that these images and details pertain only to the Region 2 (Europe) sets, but the make up of the Region 1 (North America) packages is expected to be the same or very similar.
