Voyager Season Seven Plot Details

Just like last year around this time, Steve Krutzler at TrekWeb has posted a list of one-line plot descriptions for several episodes from Voyager's seventh season. Take a look:

  • 'Imperfection', which started filming yesterday, revolves around Seven of Nine going further in her own personal human experience.

  • An episode sees Tom Paris taking the Delta Flyer (likely resurrected since its destruction in 'Unimatrix Zero, Part One') for a drive in Voyager's version of the Star Wars pod race.

  • In another episode, Tuvok investigates crimes against Maquis crew members who might be said to be in 'Repression'.

  • And finally, in one of next season's episodes the Holodoc will be facing his most menacing adversary yet: the Delta Quadrant equivalent of the HMO. The HMO, for the benefit of non-Americans like myself, is apparently a form of medical insurance company in the US that restricts you to only being able to consult doctors that have a contract with that particular HMO, according to this page, and are a source of great frustration in the US. As TrekWeb notes, this looks set to be another classic Trek-style commentary on problems in comtemporary US societ.
