Star Trek suffered two losses last week when actor Marc Lawrence and visual effects producer Marie Davis passed away.

StarTrek.com reported on the death of Lawrence, who played Volnoth in The Next Generation's "The Vengeance Factor" and Zeemo in Deep Space Nine's "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang." He died on November 27th of natural causes at the age of 95.

Because of his icy eyes and pockmarked face, Lawrence was often hired to play thugs and mobsters like the holographic Las Vegas baddie Zeemo. He played Mafia boss Carlo Gambino in HBO's Gotti.
