Phillips, Ciccolella Make 'The Switch'

Ethan Phillips (Neelix) has joined the cast of The Switch - a film that stars Jude Ciccolella, who played Romulan Commander Suran in Star Trek Nemesis.

"I'm doing a feature now called The Switch," Phillips told the Trek Nation. "It is a thriller, filmed entirely without dialogue. Very interesting I think."

Ciccolella, noted Phillips, is perhaps best known at present for a recurring role on 24 as Mike Novick, advisor to President Charles Logan (played by Gregory Itzin, who has also appeared on Star Trek several times). Ciccolella worked on 24 with several other Star Trek alumni, including Penny Johnson Jerald (Kasidy Yates) and Harris Yulin (Aamon Marritza).

Phillips joined The Switch after completing The Babysitters, a film with John Leguizamo about a girl who turns her babysitting service into a prostitution ring after several customers become involved with the teenagers watching their children. Phillips plays Mark Kessler in the black comedy written and directed by David Ross, which is scheduled for release in 2007.

More information about Phillips' recent work is here, while Ciccolella's credits are here.
