No 'New Frontier', Says Braga

Though the recent Series V approval reports already made this unlikely, I thought you might still find this interesting.

At the recent Grand Slam convention in Pasadena, California, Brannon Braga was apparently asked if there was any chance of Peter David's 'New Frontier' novels being considered for the new series. Braga replied that he had never even heard of the New Frontier novels, saying that "most fans don't read the books. That's a different fanbase."

'New Frontier' is a novel series which was launched a few years ago by Pocket Books, written by Peter David, and set aboard the U.S.S. Excalibur. Thanks go out to Jackie Bundy for posting a message about this to the New Frontier mailing list.
