To Serve All My Days: A Night in 1969 has been redone to bring it more into line with subsequent New Voyages offerings.

As reported at Star Trek: New Voyages, a remade 'To Serve All My Days: A Night in 1969' will premiere on March 29, 2008 in Beverly Hills. The movie, starring Walter Koenig, now has original series music, consistent title sequences and will now appear just as it might have appeared had it aired on a night in 1969, including vintage commercials.

"I wanted Star Trek: New Voyages to feel as if it were the fourth season of the original series,” said executive producer James Cawley, "and with 'World Enough and Time' I feel we achieved that, but I've never been fully satisfied with our work on 'To Serve All My Days,' as it was not exactly as I envisioned it. There were many things I wanted to do, but circumstances at the time forced us to go in a different direction. But now we have the chance to bring 'To Serve All My Days' more in line with 'World Enough and Time' and the soon to premiere 'Blood and Fire' two-part episode."

Walter Koenig, who stars in To Serve All My Days, is the sole remaining original series cast member without a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The premiere of To Serve All My Days will be an opportunity to highlight his career. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame committee will vote in June on whether to award Koenig his star. The Cawley Entertainment Company will use this premiere event to spotlight Koenig's career and lead in the effort to get him the votes needed for his star on the Walk of Fame.
