Hello World!

There are many unwritten laws in this universe. The strange thing about hem, however, that all those unwritten rules seem to be put into place just to make your life as difficult as possible. Like how whenever you're in a hurry to get somewhere, you will always get stuck behind a truck going at half the speed limit on a stretch of road where you're unable to over-take, or, how the car keys will miraculously turn up only after your mother starts looking for them, or how your passport will do a disappearing act minutes before you need to leave to catch you plane, despite you leaving it in a safe and rather obvious hiding spot. How the all-important term paper you spent weeks preparing will always either get blown out of a window or covered in crayon by your son/daughter/sibling/dog. Your only pair of pantyhose *will* tear just as you're leaving the house for a party. The only ever time you're late for work, the boss *will* be early. The two days Christian decides to devote all his time to toying with the BBS, my ISP *will* be a pain in the butt and cut me of every 30 seconds and give me an upload/download rate of particularly slow tortoise.

I say we need to petition that they do away with all unwritten rules of the universe. The only thing I have to be thankful for is there's not much on the news front today.
