Blalock Is Content To Be Without Vulcan Ears

"Without my Vulcan cat suit, Frankenstein wig and pointed ears, I don't get recognized," Jolene Blalock (T'Pol) explained, even though she has posed undressed for several magazines.

"Nudity is natural but not until a person accepts and loves who they are," noted Blalock, who is currently in Calgary, Alberta filming the thriller Dream Me a Murder for Lifetime, as reported by Jam! Showbiz.

An international model since she was 16, Blalock said that she is pleased with her anonymity. "I love the fact I'm a shape shifter who can go unnoticed," she said. "It took me several years to figure out who I am and a few more to accept what I discovered. Now, I'm in the enjoyment stage of that process and it's a happy place." She said that husband Michael Rapino, a concert promoter, is happy to let her take the spotlight and has been "a major calming influence" on her.

The three-week filming of Dream Me a Murder has been "a guerrilla shoot", admitted Blalock, who credited the Alberta crew with making it bearable. "They make some of the shoots I've had in L.A. look like amateur hour at the Roxy." She also found the mountains surrounding Calgary very peaceful and said that she would like to visit the city as a tourist.
