Sirtis' 'Spectres' Has New Trailer, Interviews

Spectres, the new film that stars Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) and features a role by Linda Park (Hoshi Sato), as well as appearances by The X-Files' Dean Haglund and others, has a new trailer and new publicity information.

The trailer, a review and an article about the movie are now online.

Helmer Phill Leirness said that he never considered any actress other than Sirtis for her role as Laura Lee, not only because of her science fiction background but because he believed that Sirtis' emotional range would serve the character very well.

The cast and crew actually claimed to have had encounters with the paranormal during the shooting of the film. Tucker Smallwood (Xindi-Humanoid), for example, heard a seductive feminine voice call his name. Sirtis was in the presence of an inexplicable streak of light. Perhaps the long hours and summer heat of shooting contributed to the eerie climate on the supernatural thriller.

Sirtis called the film "a good story, well acted".

The interview about Spectres is here. Thanks to D. Destiny for the URLs.
