Tim Russ Has Two Sci-Fi Films in the Works

Tim Russ, Star Trek: Voyager's Tuvok, is working on two science fiction scripts as well as new musical performances this month.

Russ will be directing a short film he wrote, Deja Vu, for Robert Michael Conrad Productions. The film is described as science fiction and will feature Deep Space Nine's Chase Masterson (Leeta) and Russ' Voyager co-star Garrett Wang (Kim). The Official Tim Russ Web Page reports that the short will begin shooting this month.

In addition, the actor is developing a sci-fi horror feature script with Jedda Roskilly and Devin Lorrance. The film will be entitled Mythe.

Fans who would like to hear Russ perform can see him at Level One on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. Russ will be onstage at 9 p.m. on May 10th and at 10 p.m. on May 24th for several sets.

Russ' film East of Hope Street has been available on DVD since late last year. He has also made several TV guest appearances. More information is available at the Official Tim Russ Web Page.
