  • According to a report on Decipher, the company's Star Trek Customisable Card Game (along with its Star Wars CCG) was inducted into Inquest Gamer's Hall of Fame, in the magazine's third annual Fan Poll. In addition, the Trek expansion 'Blaze of Glory' narrowly lost in the Best Expansion category to 'Magic: Urza's Destiny'.

  • The DVD File is reporting that Paramount has announced the 11th of July as the release date for the 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan' DVD. The disc will have a new 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer, 5.1 surround mix and a trailer. Also coming on that date are the Original Series DVDs Volumes 13 & 14. Thanks go out to Daniel Kikin for this!

  • GalaxyOnline, the internet SF broadcasting company, just announced it has acquired the internet broadcasting rights for 50 classic SF movies. The release also contains news that, besides the feature Overload (starring George Takei {Sulu}), they're producing an SF drama written by and starring Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov).   • Anne Moore and Albert L. Ortega at the Mothership have put up a report about the release party of the new self-titled CD from Tim Russ (Tuvok). The party was attended by a few other people from the world of Trek, including Robert Beltran (Chakotay), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Chase Masterson (Leeta) and David Gerrald (Tribble).

  • And the Mothership's Albert L. Ortega has also put up a report of the American Latin Media Arts Awards. Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) was nominated, but unfortunately didn't win, in the 'Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series' category. Thanks go out to Gustavo Leao for these items!

  • CNN has put up an article on the plans by the US government to construct a training grounds for soldiers similar to Star Trek's holodeck. Thanks go out to OdoGoddess for this!
