Several recent developments in technology signify good news for Star Trek fans, particularly the arrival of the original series for download on iTunes.

The iPod Observer notes that fans can buy the entire first season of Star Trek for $56.99, or $1.99 an episode - a relative bargain given that the DVD set still markets for $69.98.

Meanwhile, the HTC Star Trek phone has been updated. Mobile Magazine reports that the new version of the clamshell phone has more prominent music controls on the face and a higher-resolution camera.

Electronic House has a story on a Phiadelphia-area homeowner who has created a Star Trek-style home theatre, designed with simulated computer screens and viewports. With a budget of only $15,000, the room was given a Sony LCD projector, Polk speakers and recliners.

And finally there is a Klingon Imperial Search Engine! (The results are in English in my browser.) Thanks to Mike.
