First One-Minute 'Enterprise' Promo

If UPN continues its current Enterprise promo pace, by the 26th of September there may not be any unseen footage left for 'Broken Bow.'

Besides the two 30-second promos released yesterday (story), UPN today showed a new Series V promo, containing a full minute of footage. Several of the clips shown were already included in earlier promos, but much of the dialogue is entirely new, including the first spoken sentences by characters such as Malcolm Reed and Hoshi Sato.

[A rocket blasting off from launch pad.]

[John Glenn, smiling.]

[Astronauts working in space.]

[Moon crater.]

[Astronaut in spacecraft, communicating.]

THIS FALL... WE WILL.

[Archer in NX-01 baseball cap, looking up.]

[Admiral Forrest standing on a podium, delivering a speech.]

Forrest: "Today, we are about to cross a new threshold."

[The Enterprise crew standing on a walkway, listening.]

[Camera zooms in to Archer, who is nodding, with T'Pol standing by his side.]

WITNESS THE BEGINNING OF THE STAR TREK SAGA

[White flash.]

[T'Pol, Hoshi Sato and other crewmembers enter the bridge from a lift.]

[Travis Mayweather walks up to the helm.]

[Charlie Tucker on the walkway next to the warp core, patting a crewmember on his shoulder.]

Archer (off-screen): "Starfleet seems to think that we're ready to begin our mission."

[Crewmember (Malcolm Reed?) walking on the bridge.]

[Archer finishes sentence, standing, with Mayweather looking on.]

[Admiral Forrest stands behind Archer, who is wearing civilian clothing.]

Forrest: "Don't screw this up."

THE FIRST CAPTAIN

[Text: 'First Captain']

[Close-up of Archer looking up, first-captain-like.]

[Mayweather at the helm, Archer behind him in the command chair.]

Mayweather: "Request permission to get underway."

[Close-up of Hoshi Sato smiling.]

Archer: "Take her out, Mr. Mayweather."

THE FIRST CREW

[Text: 'First Crew']

[Close-up of T'Pol.]

[Close up of Dr. Phlox.]

Reed (off-screen): "They have two settings: stun and kill."

[Archer looks at phase pistol in his hands, Reed points something out.]

[Archer and T'Pol on the ground, Archer firing two phase pistols.]

[Enemy hiding behind a crate.]

[Close-up on Reed, finishing phaser pistol instruction.]

Reed: "It would be best not to confuse them."

[Archer looks up.]

THE FIRST TREK INTO THE FINAL FRONTIER

[Text: 'First Trek']

[Archer walking through a corridor, lights dimmed.]

[The Enterprise shuttlebay, including two shuttles, two crewmembers move across a walkway overhead.]

[Archer and Tucker, looking out of a window."

Archer: "Neptune and back in six minutes."

Tucker: "Phew."

[White flash, background music changes from classical to rock.]

[Close-up on Archer.]

[T'Pol looks up.]

[Hooded figure jumps up.]

[Enterprise crewmembers walk into space bar, looks of awe on their face.]

[Blue-skinned woman eats a butterfly with her extended tongue.]

[Sato points a flashlight at something.]

[T'Pol in the decontamination gel chamber.]

[An Oklahoma cornfield, two Suliban running through (barely identifiable).]

[Top view of the Klingon in his ship.]

[Door closes on two aliens, sparks fly.]

[Archer is thrown halfway over the helm when the Enterprise is hit, sparks fly.]

[Hoshi Sato is pushed down over her console, sparks fly here too.]

[Tucker walking along the warp core in Engineering.]

Tucker: "Bridge, we're taking damage down here! What's going on?"

Archer (off-screen): "Just a little trouble with the bad guys."

[Archer is jumped from behind by a hooded alien.]

[The two struggle.]

[Archer looks into the eyes of a hooded woman.]

[They kiss.]

[An Enterprise crewmember hides behind his console.]

[Close-up on Hoshi Sato.]

Sato: "You might think about recommending seatbelts when we get home."

[Sato in the foreground, Archer in the center in the command chair.]

A NEW ERA OF DISCOVERY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

[Archer, screaming out, is dragged away by two armed aliens.]

[Archer, carrying phase pistol, runs in or out what looks like the temporal chamber.]

[T'Pol looks back to the bridge, the camera quickly pans around her.]

[Close-up on Archer.]

Archer: "Let's go."
