Hello World!

Today I started what is probably my tenth try to get a new cellular phone. As you may recall, during the previous two months (because that's how long this has been going on now) my attempts failed because of things such as the store not having the correct SIM-card on stock, me being sent to another town with the assurance that everything would be settled once I got there, only to find out they hadn't bothered to process my application, and the phone company not being able to handle P.O. Boxes.

Today, however, I'm hoping I finally had everything set up correctly. I changed my bank account to an actual street address just for this, made sure there was some money on it for a change, and went to the store as soon as they opened. Getting the application filled in was a breeze, but then again I could probably drone up the required answers in my sleep after having done that so many times now. Of course he did manage to misspell my surname (from Höhne Sparborth to Hohne-Sparbot), but it's not exactly as if he's the first one to do so.

A few minutes ago I phoned them to ask if the contract approval from the telephone company had already come in, but they said it hadn't, so that it probably would be in early tomorrow morning. I'm just going to take this as good news, considering that the contract rejections always came in in just a few hours. If not, I'm sure you'll hear me complain about it tomorrow again.
