'Endgame' Spoilers From Kate Mulgrew

Continuing her publicity tour for the final few Voyager episodes, Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) today officially confirmed a Voyager finale rumour she had previously only hinted at.

"[The finale is] a tour de force, an absolute tour de force," Mulgrew told the Sci-Fi Wire. "It's Janeway versus Janeway. Admiral Janeway meets Captain Janeway. Admiral Janeway is 73 years old."

Previously, Mulgrew had only hinted at the confrontation of the two Janeways, saying that the finale was "Janeway and Janeway... It's a double whammy in every sense of the word."

Mulgrew continued by saying the finale has everything that fans could possibly want. "I think the writers really knocked themselves out trying to come up with this story. It's touching and full of surprises. It suits the sci-fi angle. It suits the Voyager saga that we've been telling. It suits me. I'm very satisfied with the story, with Janeway's resolution and also with my work in it. I killed myself trying to make each moment as excellent as I could."

'Endgame' is scheduled to air less than three weeks from now, on Wednesday the 23rd of May. For the original interview, please follow this link.
