Series V Scriptwriting To Start Soon

Following yesterday's comments from Leonard Nimoy (Spock) about the Excelsior Campaign, Space.com has put up another article about the Sulu series drive. For the article, they also asked Paramount to comment on the Excelsior campaign's chances of success, and while Paramount did not say anything about the Excelsior campaign itself, they did give the following info about Series V's progress:
"Rick Berman and Brannon Braga are actively involved in creating the concept for the highly anticipated fifth Star Trek series and will begin working on the script soon."
Paramount still has not officially confirmed what Series V will actually be about, but for a few weeks now reports have been suggesting it will be a 'Birth of the Federation' concept.
