Four original series cast members recently picked up an award for the show they first starred in over 35 years ago.

William Shatner (Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (Spock), Nichelle Nicholles (Uhura), and James Doohan (Scotty) picked up the 'Pop Culture Award' for the show that "crossed the line from television series to pop culture phenomenon."

The accolade was presennted by Academy-award winner Mira Sorvino at the inaugural TV Land Awards. The event was hosted at the Hollywood Palladium, and will air in the US on TV Land and Nick at Nite on Wednesday March 12 from 9pm ET/PT.

The TV Land awards web site can be found here.
