  • The Great Link has posted an interview with Rose Ordile, one of the trainers of Data's cat(s), Spot.

  • According to a report at the official site, two trek actors, Stephen Markle (Kova Tholl) and John de Lancie (Q), will both be appearing in The Tony-winning play 'Art' by Yasmina Rezam, being staged at the South Coast Repertory Theater in Costa Mesa, California.

  • Media Trek have got a swag of updates, including new syndication promos for DS9's 'One Small Ship' and Voyager's 'Timeless' and 'Equinox, Part I', in addition to a limited time 'Unimatrix Zero, Pt. 2' FX Video. You can find all these clips and more from here at Media Trek.

  • According to the Official Jeri Lynn Ryan site, Disney's 'The Kid', which Jeri (seven of Nine) appears briefly in, will premiere in the UK on Friday, November 10, while it should be available on DVD and VHS in the US and Canada on January 16, 2001.

  • According to this Sci Fi Wire report, Chase Masterson (Leeta) is suing web dating service Matchmaker.com after after an imposter placed her profile on the site without her consent. The site also reportedly refused to take it down when notified of the situation. Thanks go out to both BORG and Hallbjorn Gudjonsson for the tip-off!

  • The official site is holding a new CD give-away contest. Up for grabs is a copy of 'The Best of Star Trek, Volume Two', which "features the main title themes to all four Star Trek shows, plus excerpts from memorable episodes like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's 'The Way of the Warrior' or Star Trek: Voyager's 'Bride of Chaotica!'".   • Pocket Books Star Trek Editor, John Ordover, has announced in a Q&A session at Simon & Schuster that Michael Jan Friedman will be doing a series of Stargazer novels, featuring the crew he created for the The Next Generation novel, 'Reunion'.

  • Sev Trek was recently featured in an article in the Sydney Morning Herald on internet fan sites.
