  • According to the Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Plummer (Chang) is a nominee for Actor of the Year for the Hollywood Film Awards. The trade paper reported this in a special section on Monday, dedicated to the Hollywood Film Festival, which is organising the awards. The other nominees are Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson and Denzel Washington. Thanks go out to Jeff 'Koganuts' Koga for this!

  • This Monday, Ricardo Montalban (Khan) hosted the Nosotros 2000 Golden Eagles awards, which this year celebrated their 30th anniversary. The event honours Latinos in the arts. Thanks go out again to Jeff for this!

  • StarTrek.com has put up a report of the recent appearance by James Doohan (Scott) at Astrocon 2000, where he performer as keynote speaker. At the con, he related his life story, of course told about his baby daughter Sarah Christina Ann, and answered questions about Trek and astronomy.

  • Psi Phi is reporting that Tim Russ (Tuvok) will be reading the audiobook adaption of TNG novel 'The Genesis Wave, Book One' by John Vornholt. In addition, the audiobook version of 'Excalibur: Restoration' will be read by Joe Morton, who previously read for 'Millennium I: The Fall Of Terok Nor' and the first 'New Frontier' audiobook.

  • The ABC site has a transcript of the recent appearance by William Shatner (James T. Kirk) on 'Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher'. Thanks Gustavo Leao for this!
