- The Official Site has posted two new interviews as part of its Voyager Retrospectives series. The first, with pre-production co-ordinator Lolita Fatjo can be found here, and the second, with Voyager set decorator Jim Mess can be found by following this link.
- There's a new edition of Christian Rüehl's weekly column up at Star Trek Dimension. The current issues are no. 5 and 6, which deal with the newest developments concerning Series V, and the Voyager finale. Issue number five can be found here, and number six can be found by following this link.
- The LCARS Computer Network invites Trek Trivia fans to enter their monthly competition. The winner will receive a signed photo of Nog from Deep Space Nine signed by Aron Eisenberg.
- Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) will be doing a live chat with TV Guide on May 16th. More details can be found on the Tv Guide Live Events page. Thanks go out to Random Flight for the infomation.
- Starting today and running through June 18, Disney Auctions will begin auctioning off exclusive items from Disney's upcoming film, "Atlantis: The Lost EmpireOne of the "one of a kind experiences" being auctioned off is an opportunity to join in the Los Angeles or New York premiere of the film and meet the stars of the film, including Leonard Nimoy (Spock). - About.com's Star Trek guide, Julia Houston has a new article on her site. Entitled "Anonymous Redshirts: The Only Way to Die" it takes a look at character death on Star Trek.
Okay, I realize I'm probably alone on this, but I've decided that TOS was right. If you need to kill someone off in an episode to show how dangerous/serious/dire the situation is, the corpse should be a faceless nobody we've never seen before and who has either no lines, or the line: "Captain, I think I've found something! AAAAHHHHHH!"
