'Free Enterprise' To Fly In New DVD Set

A new version of Free Enterprise, voted the greatest geek movie of all time by Entertainment Geekly, will be released on DVD in a two-disc set.

ComingSoon.net has reported that Anchor Bay Entertainment and Ludovico Technique will release a new "Five Year Mission Addition" version of Free Enterprise, which stars William Shatner as an alternate version of himself and was co-written by former Sci Fi Universe editor Mark Altman.

The DVD set will contain a new extended cut of the film with an added "Logan's Run" sequence. There will also be commentaries by director Robert Meyer Burnett and stars Shatner, Eric McCormack and Rafer Weigle.

Like the original series, the discs will arrive in plastic DVD holders encased in an outer box with an insert booklet.

Subsequent box sets of the series will arrive later in 2005, with the fourth and current season expected by the winter holidays.
