Hello World!

Hey everyone.

Well, I thought I'd spare you yet another one of my complaints today (besides that, it's 2am and i really want to go to bed) and shall instead be posting this delightful little poem by Lisa about some of our native Aussie fauna.

Until next time!

-Amy

The emu is a funny bird

It's large and rather dirty

It runs around on long long legs

Whilst being rather flirty.

It lives alongside the kangaroo

Which bounds about the Bush

It has long legs and a great big tail

And is always rather rushed.

The wombat lives in a dark damn hole

But sometimes when it rains

The water gets right in its ears

And results in horrible pains

the platypus lives in the lake

It has a duck billed beak

It has no problems swimming about

-- only when it tries to speak

Aussie mammals are unique

They thrive in Australian sun

Though they have some very odd names

They're almost always fun
