Robert Duncan McNeill, who honed his directing skills on episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise and the series on which he was a regular, Star Trek: Voyager, has a number of new directing jobs lined up including ABC's smash hit Desperate Housewives.

McNeill will also be directing episodes of new series Supernatural on the WB, for which he directed numerous installments of Enterprise's onetime time slot competitor Dawson's Creek, according to his official web site. McNeill played Tom Paris for seven years on Voyager following a popular guest appearance on Star Trek: The Next Generation as a cocky cadet.

Along with Desperate Housewives, which features several Emmy-nominated actresses, McNeill will work with Emmy-nominated Patricia Arquette on her hit NBC series Medium. Other directing assignments include NBC's Las Vegas and Fox's young adult hit The O.C. McNeill also plans to direct the film Donny Quinn, an independent feature which is a loose adaptation of Cervantes' Don Quixote, telling the story of a contemporary teenage idealist.

Fans can see McNeill in August at the Creation Star Trek convention at the Las Vegas Hilton, where he will appear on Saturday only.
