Also released yesterday on First Contact Day was a new trailer for Star Trek: Lower Decks Season Two. The second season will begin streaming on Paramount+ on August 12.
Fans will be pleased to hear that Jonathan Frakes will be returning as Captain Riker of the USS Titan. In other good news, Season Three has already been announced. It will feature ten episodes.
