1 min read

Love, Antosha, the documentary on Anton Yelchin, will be arriving at U.S. theaters this summer.

The documentary first appeared in January at the Sundance Film Festival, where it was received positively. it “examined [Yelchin’s] lifelong passion for the arts…told through journals and other writings, photography, original music…[and] interviews with his family, friends and colleagues.

“It was so important to us to make this film about our friend, Anton Yelchin,” said Drake Doremus, who produced the film. “Anton embodied the true spirit of what it means to ‘live life to the fullest’ and his story is one of hope, courage, and most especially the love of family and of cinema. We’re grateful to share his story with audiences this summer.”

Some of Yelchin’s Star Trek co-stars participated in the project; including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, and J.J. Abrams.

Look for Love, Antosha in early August in New York City and Los Angeles. The film will show up in other parts of the country throughout August and September.

In addition to the movie, a book on Yelchin’s photography will be sold at the L.A. Art Book Fair, which begins tomorrow.
