New Star Trek: Discovery Guest Star Is Announced

A new guest star, Javier Botet, will appear on Season Two of Star Trek: Discovery.
Botet (Slender Man, Mama, It, The Mummy) will be taking on the role of an alien on the show.
“It’s only one [episode] at the moment,” said Botet. “Working on it is an incredible pleasure and a gift to be in this mythical series.”
The actor is friends with Doug Jones (Saru) and enjoyed working with his buddy. “I can tell you I’ll be working in Star Trek: Discovery in Toronto,” said Botet. “It’s going to be a very cool role, so I can’t wait to see it. I’ve been working with my friend Doug Jones, another monster performer. I hope you see it very soon.”
But can Botet give fans any particulars about the character he will be playing? “It’s an old creature,” he said. “But I’m not going to tell you what creature.”
