Wilson Teases Star Trek: Short Treks

1 min read

Before the second season of Star Trek: Discovery airs, there will be four fifteen-minute Star Trek: Short Treks, one of which will feature a Harry Mudd story.

Rainn Wilson, who played Mudd in Discovery, took to Twitter to tell his fans about his return, and to give them something to look forward to later this week.

“Guess who’s back?” he said. “OK, I’ll tell you. #HarryMudd. Big announcement on Thursday from @StartrekCBS.”

What could that announcement be? More information on the four Short Trek episodes? A Star Trek anthology series? Guess we’ll find out on Thursday.

The Mudd episode will also be directed by Wilson. It was written by Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty, Star Trek: The Next Generation Warped: An engaging Guide to the Never-Aired 8th Season).

A personal note: Thanks to all who inquired as to my well-being during and after Hurricane Florence. Fortunately, the storm was not as bad in the Raleigh area as it was predicted to be, other than in flooding in places where it normally floods.

The southeastern part of the state didn’t fare as well though. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers please, and if you can help them in any way, please do so.
