The Planetary Post – Space Telescopes

In this month’s edition of The Planetary Post, Robert Picardo “visits the Space Telescope Science Institute, where he and viewers will learn about how Hubble and the OPAL program make images of planets.”

Topics include: how they make images from what has been viewed on the telescope, taking images of the planets in our solar system, details on the OPAL program, Saturn; and for younger viewers, the difference between rotation and revolution of the planets are explained.
