As SDCC nears, more Trek-themed merchandise and exhibits have been announced.

At the ANOVOS booth, #3849, the company will show a USS Enterprise studio-scale model, as well as prop reproductions, and costumes. For sale will be items such as Discovery Starfleet Hand Phasers, Starfleet Phaser Rifles, Discovery “Disco” Athletic Shirts (Command Gold, Sciences Silver, Operations Copper), a USS Shenzhou studio-scale model, and a USS Discovery studio-scale model. There will also be a 15% sale on various items.

At the IDW Publishing booth, #2743, SDCC exclusives will include bundles of five issues of Star Trek: Through the Mirror (with variant covers) for $25.00, as well as a Discovery Annual blank cover for $10.00. Non-exclusive Mirror Broken trade paperback Comic-Con variants can be had for $20.00.

There will also be signings at the IDW Publishing booth from Mike Johnson, David Tipton, Scott Tipton, and J.K. Woodward. Stop by the booth on Friday, July 20, from 5:00-6:00 PM, and on Saturday, July 21, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Simon & Schuster will be at booth #1128 this year, where they will sell the three Discovery books (Desperate House, Drastic Measure, Fear Itself). They will also be giving away Destiny #1: Gods of Night; The Fall: Revelation and Dust; and TOS: Legacies #1: Captain to Captain.”

Finally drop by the ThinkGeek booth, #3349, where you can see a live demonstration of their Star Trek Phaser-Controlled Rock Mood Light.

The “heated rock” will glow red when the replica S1 Type-1 phaser is fired at it, like Sulu did on Alfa 177 in The Enemy Within. Don’t like red? Another option is provided for the rock to glow in various colors.

The Star Trek Phaser-Controlled Mood Light will cost $70.00 and will limited to one per customer. Feel free to ship me one!

More SDCC exclusives will be reported as information is released.
