Star Trek: Bridge Crew Open To Non-VR Players

After a new free update, the Star Trek: Bridge Crew game is now available to virtual reality (VR) and non-VR players on PC and on PlayStation 4.

The update “includes support for Windows Mixed Reality head-mounted displays (HMDs).”

In Star Trek: Bridge Crew, “four players to work together to pilot a Federation starship through dangerous missions.” Until now, only players using VR hardware could play the game. But now, “using a controller or a mouse and keyboard, players with and without VR headsets can be seamlessly matched together to pilot the USS Aegis (or USS Enterprise NCC-1701) as Starfleet officers, or play alone as captain. The update also includes enhanced Windows Mixed Reality support, adding more options for players to explore uncharted space.”

The game is now available for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality HMDs.
