Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience

Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience arrives in New Jersey on Friday. The
interactive experience will be held at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey from November 3 through May 28, 2018.

Fans attending Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience will be able to “step into the shoes of a newly minted cadet in the 26th century. As you travel through nine different zones, you’ll receive the necessary science, engineering, medical, and command training to navigate your way from orientation through graduation.

Both Trekkies and non-Trekkies will be engaged by the science behind the science fiction. Learn how Star Trek paved the way for many of today’s cutting-edge technologies — such as a functional tricorder, NASA‘s warp drive theory, and experiments involving phasers and teleporters — and even get a glimpse into the future of Star Trek science.”

The Experience kicks off with Live Long and Trek On!: A Star Trek Celebration, which will take place at the Liberty Science Center Friday November 3, from 6 to 10 PM. At this event, fans can:

  • Show off your knowledge as Jordan Hoffman, film critic and host of Engage: The Official Star Trek Podcast, leads a fierce trivia competition.
  • Enjoy Star Trek-inspired bites and cocktails.
