Fuller Leaves American Gods

1 min read

Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, showrunners on Starz‘s American Gods, have departed the show.

Fuller left Star Trek: Discovery last year, and part of the reason for his departure from the newest Star Trek series was to concentrate on American Gods instead.

Variety reports that the duo left after “clashing with producer FremantleMedia over budget and creative direction. Fuller and Green were said to have been pushing for an increase to the series’ budget for season two. Sources close to the production said that the per-episode budget for American Gods season two already nearly ten million.”

Fuller is working on other projects, including Apple‘s Amazing Stories.
