Star Trek Beyond, opening on almost four thousand screens, will probably dominate the box office this weekend, but may not match the opening weekend of the first two Kelvin Universe films.
The projected earnings for this weekend are estimated to be sixty million dollars.
Star Trek (2009) earned $75.2 million its first weekend, while Star Trek into Darkness garnered a bit less with $70.2 million dollars.
