Ancelotti Star Trek Beyond Cameo

Last year, it was rumored that former Real Madrid football manager Carlo Ancelotti would have a cameo in Star Trek Beyond, and Ancelotti has confirmed those rumors.
“I am a doctor on the Enterprise,” said Ancelotti. The cameo evidently includes the doctor treating an injured alien.
Ancelotti got his role due to his friendship with Zoë Saldana‘s husband. “The husband of actress Zoë Saldana is Italian, and I have a good relationship with the family,” he said. “They were in Vancouver to film the movie, and they asked me to watch. I went, spoke to the director, and he said: ‘I’ll put you in – small part’.”
