Fans of Star Trek: The Animated Series can rejoice; the series will be released on Blu-ray later this year.
Previously released on DVD in 2006, the twenty-two episode series will arrive in time for the holiday season. It’s uncertain at the moment whether updated bonus material will be included; in the previous release, the bonus material included commentary tracks, text commentary, a “making of” documentary, story gallery, and history of the series.
