Five Star Trek comics will make their appearance this May courtesy of IDW Publishing.

The titles include Star Trek #57 — Legacy of Spock, Part Three, Star Trek New Visions: Of Woman Born, Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3, Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #3 and Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #4.

Star Trek #57—Legacy of Spock, Part Three will find the future of New Vulcan hanging in the balance, and the elder Spock a prisoner of the Romulan Empire.

Written by Mike Johnson and featuring art and a cover by Tony Shasteen, Star Trek #57 — Legacy of Spock, Part Three will also feature a subscription variant by Angel Hernandez. The thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99.

In Star Trek New Visions: Of Woman Born, “Dr. McCoy confronts Captain Kirk with a staggering discovery…Lt. Carolyn Palamas is pregnant with the child of Apollo. Or is she?”

Written and with art and photo manipulation by John Byrne, the forty-eight page issue will cost $7.99.

In Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3, the U.S.S. Enterprise “embarks on a new five-year mission of exploration,” set after the events of Star Trek into Darkness. “Vol. 3 collects the stories The Khitomer Conflict, Parallel Lives, I, Enterprise and Lost Apollo from issues #25–34 of the ongoing Star Trek series.”

Written by Mike Johnson, the two hundred-and-twenty-eight page issue features art by Erfan Fajar, Yasmin Liang and Joe Corroney, as well as a cover by John Watson. Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3 will cost $29.99.

Next up is Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #3. This issue is a “special event mini-series celebrating the Fiftieth anniversary of Star Trek.” In this issue, “Kirk and the crew take on the Klingons in a battle unlike any you’ve seen before: aboard the Enterprise itself.”

Written by Mike Johnson and Ryan Parrott, with art and cover by Angel Hernandez, the thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99. Variant covers will come courtesy of Tony Shasteen and Stephen Mooney.

Wrapping up May will be Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #4. This story is the fourth and final one of the Manifest Destiny mini-series.

Written by Mike Johnson and Ryan Parrott, with art and cover by Angel Hernandez (and a variant cover by Jen Bartel), the thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99.
