Shatner Joins Horror Film

1 min read

William Shatner has signed on to the animated horror film Malevolent.

Malevolent is the story of “four siblings who are called upon when their evil, estranged father finds out he is dying. He announces to his children that he plans to set out his will, but the will is a guise to get them together so that he may exact revenge on his offspring. The father’s plans go awry when intergalactic gamblers take an interest in the situation, waging bets on the family’s in-fighting.”

Shatner will take on the role of Overseer, who narrates the film.

“Understandably, the chance to work with a legend is a dream come true,” said Director Jason Axinn. “I’m really excited that Mr. Shatner is coming along for the ride.”

Malevolent is expected to be released next year.

  1. I’m sure Shatner will do a good job, and it’s nice to see him so active. But I miss the time when Leonard Nimoy was the go-to guy for narration and voice overs; it continues to be so hard to believe that magnificent voice is stilled.
