Star Trek into DarknessKarl Urban will be joining the case of Disney‘s Pete’s Dragon.

Urban is replacing Michael C. Hall, who had to leave the project due to a scheduling conflict.

Directed by David Lowery, the remake of the 1977 movie will “reinvent the core of the original family film. The story follows a young boy (Oakes Fegley), whose parents are dead. He’s subsequently raised in a forest by a dragon.”

In addition to Urban, whose role has not been revealed, Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Wes Bentley will be starring in the movie.

Pete’s Dragon will be released August 12, 2016.
