The next release in the artisan replica starship series by QMx will be the USS Reliant, seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Only five hundred of the USS Reliant Artisan Replica ships will be created.
The USS Reliant, created in 1:250 scale, features an aluminum and steel skeletal structure, high-quality composite resin and fiberglass body, detailed shuttle bays with scale shuttles, crew members and photo-etched brass railings and custom electronics and lighting.
The lighting, which features more than one hundred LEDs, includes torpedoes and phaser arrays with sound effects. The “four-channel remote controls” include: warp and impulse engines illuminations, lighted weapons system with sound, interior lighting (including shuttle bays), and formation lights.
The USS Reliant Artisan Replica rests on an adjustable steel mount above a lighted display with a translight inset of a nebula.
The base can be customized, by display base color (hammered black or hammered silver finish), custom paint (optional battle-damage weathering) and custom engraving (a choice from a list of quotes from the movie).
