The original series’ Leonard Nimoy will receive an award from the Boston Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Nimoy is a native of Boston and began his performing career there.
Nimoy will receive the Governors’ Award, a special award which is given in recognition of achievements that don’t fall within the structure of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences regular awards.
The award will be presented to Nimoy at the Boston/New England Emmy Awards ceremony to be held on June 7.
