Star Trek fans who enjoy watching the televised shows on Amazon Prime will be happy to hear that a new deal has been signed that will extend the current licensing agreement between CBS TV Distribution and Amazon.

All five television series are currently available on Amazon Prime for instant streaming.

The deal includes the current catalog of shows, including the Star Trek series; and other series to be added in the future.

“We are very pleased to continue expanding our partnership with Amazon,” said CBS Corp. Chief Corporate Licensing Officer Scott Koondel. “CBS content is clearly a great match with Prime Instant Video’s growing user base, including The Good Wife being the service’s No. 1 show this past fourth quarter, as well as strong viewership of Under the Dome over the summer. We look forward to Under the Dome season two this summer, along with Extant, and all that we will continue to do to provide great programming to our mutual customers.”

Exact terms of the deal are not yet available.
