Star Trek into Darkness‘ Simon Pegg will take on a new role, this time as an assassin.
Pegg will join the mostly Australian cast in Kill Me Three Times.
Kill Me Three Times will “[take] place in a sun drenched Australia surfing town. [Alice] Braga plays a young singer, and is the thread that binds three tales of murder, blackmail and revenge. Pegg plays a mercurial assassin, who is hired by her wealthy husband but there is more than one person gunning for her. [Sullivan] Stapleton plays a gambling addict that attempts to pay off his debts through a risky life insurance scam; [Teresa] Palmer plays a small town Lady Macbeth who masterminds the scheme. Luke Hemsworth portrays Braga’s love interest, a local surfer.
Produced by Tania Chambers, Kill Me Three Times is being written by James McFarland. Luke Hemsworth is the brother of Star Trek’s Chris Hemsworth.
Kill Me Three Times is currently in production.
