Star Trek Into Darkness Behind-the-scenes Clips

Star Trek into Darkness is available via digital download today, ahead of the September 10th DVD and Blu-ray release of the movie.

Fans waiting for that release can see a preview of a “making of” Star Trek into Darkness documentary, and some of the concept art for the movie.

The preview features creating the Nibiran costuming for the aliens seen in the opening sequence of the movie.

One of the three photos of concept art for the movie is pictured below. The other two can be seen at the referring site.

Fans can also head over to the Defeat Khan website, which debuted today. At Defeat Khan, “some of the most advanced 3D technology [is used] to allow you to instantly create your  own personalized Star Trek avatar with just an upload of your photo.  You are then tasked to join the Starfleet Academy to train with a variety of simulations testing your IQ, Vision, Focus, Memory, and Speed as you move up the ranks to help defeat Khan.  By connecting to Facebook, you can also compete with your friends to see who has the more superior genetics.”
